KDDI telecom has just released Sanyo A5520SA in Japan.

The new Sanyo A5520SA is outfitted with a loud buzzer to call for
help. It is activated by a long press of a button and will certainly alert nearby people and get their immediate attention. Users can also pair the phone with a number so that when the alarm button is activated a call is automatically made to that phone. Also, when the button is activated, the A5520SA will send an alert to the matched phone.

Locating the user in need is made simple through the GPS service, which needs a monthly subscription charge. The phone features a nice 2.2'' 262k color screen, 18MB built in memory and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The handset also has speech to text capabilities, but you can only input Japanese text.

The phone weighs 105g and measures 48 x 94 x 21 mm. The battery allows users to talk for approximately 190 mins and has up to 290 hours standby time.
