14 DAY TRIAL // The Santa Monica Sony studio has announced that it is hiring developers who have experience with both first- and third-person shooter for an unannounced project.
The job opening for a senior combat designer states: “The Sony Santa Monica Studio is hiring for an unannounced new IP! We are an open and creative environment that strives to make the best games in the industry. Join us as we embark on our next project!”
Other requirements for the job include experience with vehicular combat, boss design and the creation of an open world.
Sony Santa Monica is best known for creating the God of War series, which has long been one of the most interesting titles on PlayStation branded devices.
God of War: Ascension was recently confirmed as arriving in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, with development handled by the Santa Monica team, and the unannounced game might be another title in the same universe that uses different mechanics.
