Although there are still a few days left until Intel's Huron River platform becomes official, the Italian company Santech has already sent a press release detailing its upcoming N67 notebook that can be configured with various Sandy Bridge processors and dedicated graphics.

Just like the N56 that was released before it, this too is a fully configurable laptop, users having the option of choosing from an impressive list of hardware in order to customize the notebook according to their needs.

All the configurations, however, are based on the Intel HM65 Express chipset, also dubbed Cougar Point-M, that enables Santech to use Intel's upcoming Sandy Bridge processors in their laptop.

The available CPU options are part of the Core i7 series and feature quad processing cores as well as Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost support, their speed ranging from 2GHz, for the Core i7-2630QM (that will become available starting February 25, 2011), to 2.5GHz for the Core i7-2920XM.

Users can pair Intel's new processor with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM memory, various storage drives including SSDs and 7200rpm HDDs, Nvidia-built discrete graphics cards, an 8-cell battery pack as well as with a Blu-ray SuperMulti 6X optical unit.

On the connectivity side of things, users will get everything they expect from a top of the line notebook, including an HDMI output and two USB 3.0 ports, Santech also allowing its customers to choose an Intel WiFi / WiMAX combo network card and/or a 3G UMTS/HSDPA modem.

As far as the display is concerned, the standard version of the N67 is equipped with a low-res (and low-price) 1366x768 panel, but the company also offers a Full HD 1920x1080 screen as an optional (either matte or glossy finish).

The price of the basic configuration is just a little over 1,200 Euros, more expensive configurations going for as much as 3,000 Euros. Deliveries will start January 27, 2011. (via SlashGear)
