Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, once co-stars and good friends for a very long time, have taken their relationship to the next level, precisely over New Year’s Eve, reports claim. The two are now a couple.

Two separate tabloids claim to have it from very reliable sources that the two stars, who appeared together in the romantic comedy “The Proposal,” have found comfort in each other, as well as a much-needed friend.

OK! Magazine says the two rang in the new year together, after spending many hours on the phone talking about divorce and the things that went wrong in their respective marriage.

As fans must know, Sandra divorced Jesse James after last spring’s cheating scandal, while Ryan and his wife, Scarlett Johansson, filed for divorce shortly before Christmas.

According to OK!, it was Sandra who made the first move, by inviting Ryan to spend New Year’s with her and some friends at a restaurant, an invitation he gladly accepted.

“Sandra planned all along to spend New Year’s at the restaurant with friends. And she was thrilled that Ryan accepted her invitation to join in,” a spy confirms for the mag.

Us Weekly also confirms this, even offering an eyewitness’ account on how friendly the two were throughout dinner and the party. They definitely acted like there was more going on between them.

“They were very playful. [They were] smiling the whole time and occasionally touching... What a hot – and quick – rebound for both of them!” gushes one spy.

“I’m sure they’ve bonded over the breakups. Going through a divorce is a unique thing to live through,” another source tells Us.

The same magazine claims to have it from another, a third, insider, that Ryan has had a thing for Sandra ever since they worked together on “The Proposal” in 2009, where they played two people having to pretend to be married to each other - and who inevitably fall for each other.
