Shortly after word got out in the media, thanks to an interview worth no less than $30,000, that Jesse James was cheating on Sandra Bullock, the actress moved out of the family home. Recent rumors say that she’s now considering adopting James’ three kids and using his infidelity as an argument to get custody – a report that couldn’t be more wrong, as her rep tells People.

Bullock has been in hiding ever since the scandal broke in the media, which would explain the huge number of rumors that pop up online and in the written media every single day. The latest seemed to claim that the Oscar-winning actress was considering going to court over custody of James’ three children from two previous relationships, but the truth of the matter is that the thought hasn’t even crossed her mind.

“Despite reports, Sandra Bullock isn’t aiming to become a legal parent to her husband’s three kids. ‘There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’ children,’ her rep tells People,” writes the mag after contacting Bullock’s camp for comment. Moreover, the publication goes on to say, all three children have remained in James’ custody since Sandra went into hiding.

“James, 40, has been taking care of his kids Chandler, 15, and Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6, from his two previous marriages, since news of his alleged infidelity broke days after his wife of four years won her first Oscar. Friends of the couple have said the children’s welfare is the priority for both Bullock and James as they cope with the crisis in their marriage. To date, four women have claimed to have had affairs with James during his marriage,” People explains.

The adoption rumor and the report that both Bullock and James were lawyering up are the two stories on which camp Bullock took a stand since the scandal began. Jesse James, on the other hand, issued an apology to Sandra and his children in which, though admitting to no wrongdoing, he said the media frenzy was his own fault.
