14 DAY TRIAL // After her marriage to Jesse James came crumbling down when his lovers went to the press to reveal all the sordid details of their affair, Sandra Bullock began protecting herself from more heartbreak by focusing more on her son and putting dating on second place. She is now afraid she’s about to have her heart broken once more.
Back in 2002 until 2003, she dated Ryan Gosling, aka the man ladies literally tend to swoon over, after meeting and falling for him while working on “Murder by Numbers.”
Despite the fact that so much time has passed since then, Sandra is terrified of coming face to face with her ex-beau during the Oscars 2014 events because she still has feelings for him, Radar Online reports, citing a source close to the actress.
Sandra is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Alfonso Cuaron’s “Gravity,” so she’ll be at all the press events that precede the Academy Awards. Ryan, on the other hand, has no movie in the competition, but the source seems convinced that he will be there too.
“[Sandra] is nervous about coming face-to-face with Ryan this awards season because he really broke her heart years ago. Sandra is totally mortified about being around Ryan, even though she’s the one who helped launch his career more than ten years ago,” claims the spy.
To make matters even worse, Sandra too has heard that rumor that Ryan and girlfriend Eva Mendes are officially on a break while they think if they’re in the same place as far as the future of their relationship is concerned.
“It’s crazy, but the fact that he and Eva are taking a break from their romance has Sandy nervous. With everything she’s been through with men, the last thing she needs is to have all that brought up again,” says the spy.
“Sandra has her fingers crossed that Ryan is a no-show on Oscar night, even though everyone on her team has told her to relax and that no one can even remember their romance. Everyone’s moved on, but Sandy’s the type to take things really to heart. If anyone hurts her, it’s very hard for her to forgive and forget,” adds the same unnamed insider.
It’s probably redundant but we’ll do it either way: do take all of the above with a grain of salt.
