Jay Leno's departure from The Tonight Show has sparked many different opinions. There were talks about what has been, what is going to be, and what should have been done with his exit.

And while the politics of such a historical move are being sorted, Sandra Bullock could not hide her tears as she was invited on the show.

Even if the mood seemed joyful, Sandra broke into tears after Leno paid her a lovely compliment, comparing his first glance at her to that of his first glance at his wife. Bullock took his hand and made him a compliment of her own, as a clearly saddened Leno, brushed it off modestly.

People are now looking forward to see new anchor, Jimmy Fallon, on the show and also the direction he's going to take the long-running series on. But also, questions are being answered about how well the network handled Leno's departure after more than 20 years.

Many think that, in a way, Leno was let go through the back door, because he wasn't allowed to address the issue on the show. In interviews, the silver-haired TV personality has admitted he was “blind-sided” by the decision the network took to replace him with Jimmy Fallon.
