14 DAY TRIAL // Precisely because she likes to keep her love life private, there’s always a lot of interest in who Sandra Bullock may or may not be dating. According to a report from late last month, her most recent beau is actually an old friend of hers, handsome actor Chris Evans, most recently seen in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
They were never photographed together doing anything that might be “proof” that they’re romantically involved but, some time last month, they and Chelsea Handler, another good friend of Sandra’s, went out for dinner.
That was enough to set the rumor mill in motion, with countless “insiders” vouching for the tabloids that Sandra and Chris were definitely dating. In fact, they said, she was actually falling hard for him because he had finally gotten her to trust a man again.
You might remember that Sandra’s previous relationship was with Jesse James, to whom she was also married and with whom she had initiated procedures to adopt a baby boy. Right before the adoption went through, he was exposed in the press as a serial cheater and their marriage imploded.
Apparently, Chris managed to get her to trust again.
And we don’t know even the half of it, Sandra told the media at the Spike TV’s Guys’ Choice Awards 2014, which took place over the weekend and will air tonight, Yahoo! Celebrity informs.
“You guys are a little behind,” Sandra said of the rumors. “We've since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated. We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But we're going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we've taken on, because you just can't abandon the animals.”
That Sandy, always the jokester. Of course she wasn’t going to confirm or deny the rumors, because that’s simply something that she doesn’t do.
Even back in the day when she was still married to Jesse James, when she was a bit more open on such topics, Sandra never really got into particulars and would often avoid direct questions she was not comfortable with through humor.
When James broke her heart the way he did, the star shut down completely for the press, and only spoke about the adoption and her baby boy on a couple of occasions: never about any other “man” in her life.
She obviously sees no reason to do that now, even if she is really dating Chris. If she were, they would make a very good-looking and probably very fun couple as well, wouldn’t you say?
