Codes
Full health gauge: Pause game play, then hold L1 + R1 (in order) and quickly press Right, Down, Left, Up. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Full Master Mode gauge: Pause game play, then hold L1 + R1 (in order) and quickly press Left, Down, Right, Up. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Health drops to 1 point: Pause game play, then hold L2 + R2 (in order) and quickly press Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, Up. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Master Mode gauge drops to 1 point: Pause game play, then hold L2 + R2 (in order) and quickly press Right, Left, Right, Left, Down(2). A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Enemies shoot faster: Pause game play, then hold L2 + R2 (in order) and quickly press Right, Down, Left, Up. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Unlockables
Play as Cow Girl Anne: Successfully complete survival mode two or more times.
Play as Way of the Samurai 1 and 2: Successfully complete all stages (including each of the extra stages) under the super hard difficulty setting.
Other bonus characters: Find the wanted posters in the following stages to unlock the corresponding character.
Faceless Hard stage 8 (Saloon): Found over the chandelier
Donna Hard stage 11 (Cactus Gulch): Get to a position where the train station is behind you. Look on the terrace of the building to the left and diagonal from your location.
Killer Hard extra stage 2 (Coal Mine): Above the coal mine entrance.
Nathan Hard stage 9 (Coal mine): From the starting location, search the building directly in front, and beyond the slippery ground.
Jean Hard stage 12 (Wilderness): Found in the air next to the bridge.
Rando Hard stage 15 (Fort): Search the back of the right side of the fort.
Goldberg (normal) Hard stage 16 (Goldberg Residence): Look behind the back stairs inside Goldberg's room.
Goldberg (battle) Easy extra stage 1 (Fort): Found diagonally above
the statue.
Harvey Hard extra stage 4 (Coal Mine): Look behind the bridge.
General Hard stage 7 (Cactus Gulch): Search inside the small room along the tracks.
Lanky Hard stage 14 (Wilderness): Look around the entrance to the stage.
Oaf Hard stage 2 (Saloon): Search down by the stairs.
Ripper Hard stage 1 (Cactus Gulch): Found above the general store next to the saloon.
Eve Hard stage 3 (Cactus Gulch): Hidden in the back of the small path next to the train station,
Bart Hard stage 6 (Fort): Found in an opening by the entrance to the courtyard.
Vile Hard stage 4 (Ghost Town): From your starting position, look behind the road blocking sign in front of you.
Little Baby Hard stage 5 (Goldberg Residence): Found behind a door.
Faceless (type 2) Hard stage 13 (Saloon): Look on the pipe next to the stage.
Claudia Hard extra stage 4 (Coal Mine): Go past the bridge and enter the room with a crane. It is on the wall to the right.
Anne Hard stage 10 (Ghost Town): Found in mid-air in the cemetery.
Joey Hard stage 9 (Coal Mine): Go past the bridge and look above the dead end to the right.
Ralph Hard stage 16 (Goldberg Residence): On the first floor, search the pipe on the back left.
Urchin Normal extra stage 5 (Wilderness): Look at the top of the hill.
Sweetheart Normal stage 16 (Wilderness): Look in the dining room, behind the screen.

Gameplay hints
Blocking bullets: When enemies are shooting, you can block the bullets better by tapping R1 or Circle repeatedly until you are ready to make a move on them.
Defeating Jean: On stage 3 with your first Boss battle with Jean, run and hide behind the stagecoach. Jean will run up to it on the other side. He will try to shoot you but cannot. However, you can still hit him. Keep swinging your sword and it will go through the stagecoach and hit Jean. Keep this up until he is dead. You should not have lost any health.
Defeating Rando: Use a low stance weapon and keep deflecting his bullets back at him with Circle.
