SAMURAI WARRIORS stars the brave Sanada Yukimura, who leads an elite band of samurai and ninja. Sanada's journey will take him to the hallowed Japanese battlefields of Okehazama and Kawanakajima and inside the embattled walls of Osaka Castle where he will come face-to-face with gun-toting troops, echelons of ninja, and deadly kunoichi (female ninja).

Players can choose the role of Sanada Yukimura or other legendary samurai and ninja. The game will herald the rise of the indispensable ninja, Hattori Hanzo, from the shadows of history, as well as the reemergence of KOEI's powerful and mysterious Oda Nobunaga. SAMURAI WARRIORS boasts several new developments. Among them, the new AMS (active mission system) triggers a distinct mission during each battle. To accept or decline the mission is up to the player. Missions evolve depending on player performance and the tide of battle.

Alternate Costume
Alternate Costume (JP Version) - Finish a character's musou mode to unlock their alternate costume, select by pressing triangle

Alternate Costume (US Version) - Finish a character's musou mode to unlock their alternate costume, select by pressing circle

Edit Mode Musket (JP)
To unlock the musket in edit mode you have to get to expert on archery mode and complete expert with a perfect rating. Select Archery again and Magoichi will appear and challenge you. Defeat him and your edit character will have a musket.

Date Masamune - Clear any two scenarios.

Ishikawa Goemon - Clear Okuni's scenario.

Kunoichi - Clear both Hattori Hanzou's and Takeda Shingen's scenarios.

Lord Oda Nobunaga - Clear Oichi's, Saiga Magoichi's, and Nouhime's scenarios.

Meada Keiji - Clear Uesugi Kenshin's scenario.

Mori Ranmaru - Clear Akechi Mitsuhide's scenario.

Nouhime - Clear Mori Ranmaru's scenario.

Okuni - Clear Maeda Keiji's scenario.

Saiga Magoichi - Clear any scenario once.

Takeda Shingen - Clear Sanada Yukimura's scenario.

New Edit General Models
While training a new general, achieve an attack and defense total of 90 by the fourth month. A doujou-yaburi will show up to challenge you. Defeat him (he can only be defeated with a Musou Ougi) and you will unlock a new character model. This can be repeated up to 4 times.
