Samurai Shodown 2 is a fighting game initially released on Neo Geo Pocket Color handheld systems in 1999. The
title was eventually released on Xbox Live Arcade, bringing back some sweet memories to the fans of the franchise or to those of the fighting genre. Samurai Shodown 2 is set in the 18th century and featurs bladed-weapon combat and an international cast of characters - all lead by the evil Yuga the Destroyer.
The game was received with mixed reviews and many people claimed that it doesn't manage to bring the same thrills and excitement as the original title. However, this does not mean that it was not a critical success - many consoles still have it installed on their hard disks today, too.
