Sources familiar with the matter have leaked Sammy’s tablet names set for Q1 2014

We have lately been talking a lot about Samsung’s upcoming four tablet models expected to be unveiled in Q1 2014.

We already knew a 10.5-inch tablet with AMOLED screen would see the light of day in January 2014, but we had no indication of what the tablet was going to be called. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite budget Sammy slate was also mentioned to be part of the roll-out, but the remaining two were kept in a shroud of mystery.

Now thanks to one of SamMobile's sources, we have the official names of the four models. The veil is off so we will be seeing the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320/T325), the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525), Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905) and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/T111) arrive on the market in Q1.

You are seeing two model numbers because all the four tablets are going to be arriving in both Wi-Fi and LTE versions (except for the budget Galaxy Tab 3 Lite that will only have a 3G variant).

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is said to be launching first in the upcoming two weeks, and when it does, it will become available for purchase in Cream White. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (with 16GB of storage) and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (32GB of storage) will follow suit and show their face in the world in week six of the year.

Last but not least, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will drop after one week. The remaining three tablets will have white and black flavors.

This information seemingly contradicts the report coming out of Korea not so long ago, which stated an AMOLED screen 10.5-inch screen was to arrive out of Samsung in January 2014.

Actually, there’s no mention of AMOLED screens here at all, and the only slate set to arrive in January appears to be the budget one. We’ll keep you updated on the matter.
