South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly getting ready for the official release of a new Android-based flagship smartphone before the end of this quarter, namely the Galaxy S IV, which should sport a 5-inch full HD screen on the front.

Apparently, Samsung has decided to ramp up production of said displays in February, so as to make sure that it has enough parts to sustain the smartphone’s release in the second quarter of the year.

A recent article on DDaily suggests that the company will kick off mass production of 5-inch full HD AMOLED panels later this month, and that the units will be ready for deployment on Galaxy S IV in early March.

The news falls in line with previous reports that the phone will be officially unveiled in March, while set to arrive on shelves starting with April, SammyHub notes.
