14 DAY TRIAL // The first Tizen-based smartphone from Samsung might arrive on shelves in October this year, with five countries expected to receive it initially, including Japan, France, United States, China and Russia, new reports on the matter unveil.
The company hasn’t offered specifics on the matter as of now, but info coming from industry sources in Korea suggests that it might finally make a Tizen handset official in two months.
The vendor was previously expected to announce such a device before the end of the summer, but it appears that it has delayed these plans, DigiTimes reports.
However, it seems that the South Korean giant is finally getting ready for the commercial debut of Tizen (developed in partnership with Intel). As SamMobile notes, the company is also rumored to have enhanced the platform’s support for languages spoken in the aforementioned five countries.
