South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly preparing the launch of a full range of Galaxy S5 handsets later this year, the same as it did with Galaxy S4 in 2013.

According to the latest reports on the matter, the company will launch both a Galaxy S5 Zoom device, as well as a Galaxy S5 Active smartphone, though no official confirmation on them has been provided as of now.

The S5 Zoom might be released as a new mobile camera, no longer included in the Galaxy S smartphone series, as it happened last year. However, the device appears se to arrive alongside the company’s upcoming flagship handset, rumor has it.

Furthermore, it appears that the device has already been spotted on Zauba, the website that monitors imports and exports of mobile devices in India, where it features the name of Samsung Mobile Camera for R&D purpose.

It is expected to feature a price tag of around $523, which would make it as costly as Galaxy S4 Zoom was when it got launched last year, as PhoneArena notes.

No specific info on the device’s hardware specifications has emerged as of now, but chances are that it will be more powerful than Galaxy S4 Zoom.

As for the Galaxy S5 Active, is should be launched as the waterproof version of the Galaxy S5, in a move similar with that made by Samsung last year with S4 Active.

According to ETNews, the handset is expected to account for around 30 percent of the total Galaxy S5 series sales. This could suggest that Samsung is planning on packing the handset with enhanced hardware capabilities, though it remains to be seen how that will pan out.

Unfortunately, no official confirmation on any of the above has been provided as of now, so we’ll take it with a grain of salt for the time being. However, Samsung might announce the Galaxy S5 flagship later this month at MWC 2014, and it could unveil the rest of the series there as well, so stay tuned.
