South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new high-end, extra-large smartphone running under Google’s Android operating system.

According to a recent post on SamMobile, the new device will make an appearance soon, featuring a 5.8-inch touchscreen display.

The handset supposedly features the name of Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 (GT-I9152), and is expected to land on shelves with support for two SIM cards.

Furthermore, the news site claims that the device will hit the market in Pure White color, while running under Google’s Android Jelly Bean operating system right from the start (it’s yet uncertain whether the platform will be Android 4.1 or Android 4.2).

The rest specifications of the new device are yet unknown, yet it might not be too long before Samsung will make it official, so stay tuned.
