South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is expected to bring to the spotlight next week some new, appealing devices, and it seems that the Samsung Focus S might be one of them.

The new device was already unveiled to the world and should arrive on shelves in the United States on the airwaves of AT&T, but Samsung did not offer specific info on what it will have to offer when made available for purchase.

However, it seems that all that might change as soon as next week, since Samsung is expected to bring the new mobile phone to the CTIA conference.

The new device builds on the success of last year's Samsung Focus smartphone, but adds some new features and capabilities into the mix as well.

For example, we should note that it runs under the new Windows Phone Mango operating system, and that it should include better hardware than the older device.

Of course, Mango is also on its way to the Samsung Focus smartphone, but not all users will be receiving it along with the rest of the world.

As for the upcoming Samsung Focus S, rumor has it that the leading handset vendor might have pushed it closer to the Galaxy S II smartphone, and that it should prove to be a great high-end Windows Phone device.

For the time being, no specific info on the availability or pricing of this handset emerged either, but chances are that it will arrive on shelves in the first week of November.

One way or the other, we might be able to learn a few more things on this smartphone as soon as next week, provided that Samsung will indeed bring it along at CTIA.

Focus S might not be the device that should emerge during the Unpacked Event Samsung already announced, but it will certainly prove a great option for Windows Phone enthusiasts.
