Recently, Galaxy S 4, the latest Android-based flagship smartphone from South Korean handset vendor Samsung, was found to provide users with far less storage space when compared to what users might have expected from it, and Samsung has unveiled plans to address this soon.

According to the company, they are looking into a software solution that would enable for additional internal memory to be freed on Galaxy S 4, so that users could store more of their personal files on the device, Cnet reports.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the 16GB flavor of the Galaxy S 4 was found to be offering only around 9.5GB of free storage space.

Most probably, the Galaxy S 4 Google Edition, which lands on shelves with stock Android on top, won’t suffer from this.
