Samsung’s smartphones have been gaining popularity among end users for quite some time now, and their performance in the UK during January confirms their appeal to users.

Galaxy S III was the top selling device in the UK in January 2013, strengthening its position on the market, after being placed on the same spot for nine consecutive months.

Furthermore, Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy Ace and Galaxy S II smartphones have also been top selling devices in the country last month, uSwitch’s top 10 list shows.

Nokia’s Windows Phone-based Lumia 800 and Lumia 610 emerged on that list as well, showing that the users are interested in purchasing mid-level devices that can provide them with increased functionality.

As IntoMobile notes, Apple’s iPhone 5 was present on said list only on the seventh position, while Nexus 4 was placed sixth.
