14 DAY TRIAL // In addition to the Ativ Smart PC Pro 700T Windows 8 tablet PC, Samsung has officially released the Series 9 Premium Ultrabook.
Larger than the Ativ Smart PC Pro 700T (13.3 inches versus 11.6 inches), it also has a higher price: $1,899.99 / 1,468-1,899.99 Euro.
A rather off-putting sum, to be sure, but this is Samsung's decision.
Samsung's ultrathin laptop has an Intel Core i7 CPU at the core, along with 4 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD for storage.
The system also gets a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 connector and, of course, the Windows 8 Professional operating system.
"With the introduction of the new full HD resolution Series 9 Premium Ultrabook, Samsung is continuing its focus on innovation while delivering on the needs of a growing number of mobile professionals," said Tod Pike, senior vice president at Samsung's enterprise business division.
