In terms of design portable computers have come a long way since their early days, ever more manufacturing introducing sleek lines and attractive colors to their offerings, Samsung just adding two new colorways to its N150 Plus netbook.

Now available in pink and bright red, these netbooks feature the same two tone paintjob that was used in the previous models as well as pretty much the same hardware, so older models owners don't have too many reasons to upgrade.

And since I mentioned hardware, then maybe it's time to refresh you memory a bit since I don't know how many of you remember the N150 Plus' launch.

First thing to note is these don't differ to much from your regular 10 inch netbook offering, Samsung's model coming with an 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, backed up by 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, as well as 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.

Other features include a 4-in-1 card reader, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, two 1.5W speakers, and a 6-cell battery enabling up to 10 hours of operation.

The screen is a rather low resolution 1024x600 offering, so don't expect to get that much work done on it, although its non-gloss, LED backlit design should make it somewhat better then other netbook displays.

A 3G modem is also available as an option if you don't want to go without Web connectivity, Samsung offering the N150 Plus together with its AllShare application that lets you stream and play videos, music and photos on your mobile PC without installing any drivers when DLNA certified devices are used.

According to TCMagazine, these pink and bright red models are available throughout Europe right now for €319, just as much as Samsung charged for the previous N150 Plus models.
