South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has started mass producing its embedded memory (eMMC) flash for smartphones and other mobile devices.

Coming in capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, the Samsung eMMC Pro Class 1500 can deliver great performance, courtesy of its high-speed capabilities.

According to Samsung, the new product would provide smartphone and tablet PC users with read and write speeds of 140MB/s and 50MB/s, respectively.

This means not only that you will be able to enjoy increased available storage inside that new Galaxy S III smartphone, but you’ll also benefit from fast performance when using it.

Samsung built the eMMC Pro Class 1500 with 64-gigabit (Gb) NAND using the 20 nanometer class process technology. It is also the first such product to support the JEDEC e-MMC v4.5 specification, Samsung announced.
