Today, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics officially announced the availability of its Android-based Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 devices in India.

The company also unveiled that those who purchase them will be in for a treat.

To be more precise, the company revealed that both handsets will benefit from special data offerings from Reliance (RCom) and Vodafone, with 2GB of data available for free.

At Reliance, the promotion also includes unlimited access to Big Movies Library, as well as unlimited WhatsApp, Twitter, and Facebook, all available for three months, as Fonearena notes.

Vodafone customers will enjoy free 2GB of free data (2G and 3G) for the first two months after activation, it seems. Galaxy Mega 5.8 is the first smartphone of the two to become available, set to hit shelves next week.
