Samsung, the second largest mobile phone maker in the world, was rumored not too long ago to plan launching successors for some of the most popular Android smartphones it brought to the market, including the Galaxy and Galaxy S, and some more info on such devices emerged now.

Two unannounced mobile phones from Samsung surfaced in a series of official photos, namely the Samsung Galaxy Ace and the Galaxy Suit.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace sports the model number S5830, and was spotted into the wild before, when it was said to be headed to shelves as the Galaxy S Mini.

No info on the specifications list of this handset emerged along with the new photo, but the name under which it would arrive on shelves seems to have been confirmed as Galaxy Ace.

Previous reports on the phone suggested that it might run under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, and that it might sport an HVGA screen.

The possible specifications for this device might also include a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. It might also include GPS and microUSB port.

The second new Samsung Android-based mobile phone that emerged in an official photo is the Samsung Suit S5670, which makes its first appearance into the wild.

The handset is expected to arrive on the market as a mid-range Android device, most probably a successor for the Galaxy 5.

Although it hasn't been confirmed for the time being, this phone might be accompanied by the previously leaked Galaxy Mini, and could run under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo platform.

No specific details on when would Samsung plan making the new mobile phones official emerged either, but the Mobile World Congress set to kick off next month in Barcelona should bring more info on the matter.

In the meantime, all that we have on these devices are these small photos, courtesy of Eurodroid.
