The company only now gets around to launching it on its home market

Samsung launched the EX2F smart Wi-Fi camera last month (July 2012) but shipments, in South Korea at least, are only now beginning.

The price is rated at 575,000 won, which converts into $506 / 411 Euro, not at all the $549 / 435 Euro revealed before. That just goes to show how little currency exchange rates actually matter.

Regardless, for those who want a reminder of what is more important about the EX2F, the camera uses a 12-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, a 3-inch swiveling VGA AMOLED display and an F1.4 24mm wide-angle lens.

What's more, Samsung tossed in full manual camera control, dual image stabilization, Full HD video support and an ISO sensitivity of up to 12,800.

Finally, the zoom ratio is a modest 3.3x, provided Samsung hasn't modified the design, which we have seen no evidence of.
