Samsung’s AMOLED tablets were expected to make an appearance at CES

Yesterday I brought you news about Samsung getting ready to start mass production of its AMOLED displays in February/March 2014.

So if Sammy is ready to start mass producing 8-inch and 10.5-inch panels, we could assume that at MWC the veil will be lifted off the long awaited AMOLED tablets we have been hearing of in the last few months.

Remember three new Samsung tablet models, SM-T530, SM-T535 and SM-T531, two of which have an 8-inch display while the latter has a 10-inch one, showed up on Indian import-export site Zauba. This means some working prototypes are already in existence and they have been sent to India for testing.

So are you ready to see AMOLED tablets at MWC?

On the other hand Samsung is said to also be prepping an update to its Galaxy Note 8.0 (via PocketNow). Other details are unknown yet (what the update is supposed to include) but I’ll keep you posted.
