Samsung wants to dazzle us all today, as it has launched more than 15 products, all good looking and all high-tech. Let's check out another line-up of home theatres this time - the 100-series Home Theater-in-a-Box (HTiB) systems.

"Samsung's award-winning designers certainly married both form and function with the new 100 Series HTiB systems," said Bill Hadam, Director, Digital Audio and Video, Samsung Electronics America. "The 100 Series offers not only superb sound and industry-leading features but a gorgeous new design that perfectly complements Samsung's eye-catching flat-panel televisions."

The HT-Q100 is a space-savior, which comes with two speakers, as the 2.1-channel system features Samsung's DNSe Virtual Surround Sound, Samsung's USB Plug & Play Host feature USB support, enabling users to listen to MP3 or WMA files stored on their music player through the system and, what's more important, no less than 300 watts to rock your soul.

Moreover, a separate subwoofer allows this compact system to create a big home theater experience in a small space. But, as any leader of the entertainment market segment, Samsung had to pay its dues and include in its brand new home entertainment systems a HDMI output using Faroudja DCDi up-scaling which enables the users to watch their current DVDs in near HD quality.

The HT-XQ100, on the other hand, has a 5.1 Channel Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic system, trading off the USB Host and HDMI output features for true surround sound powered by 300 watts of power, coming out of rear satellite speakers.

The HT-Q100 comes at a $499 suggested price and the HT-QX100 has a $399 recommended purchase cost.
