Earlier this month it was discovered that Samsung was working on 8-inch and 10-inch tablets with AMOLED displays, but back then we had no clue on when the devices might see the light of day.
Now, a new report coming from Asia via ETNews says that Samsung will be unveiling its 10.5-inch AMOLED tablet as soon as January 2014. An official announcement at CES 2014 is expected to come from the tech giant during the press day event, scheduled for January 6.
The only AMOLED tablet that Samsung has put on the market until now is the Galaxy Tab 7.7, which reportedly didn't get a good feedback from customers.
Not so long ago, a purported AMOLED tablet believed to be the new Galaxy Tab 4 (SM-T331) was found in a shipping manifest, so maybe this is the device Sammy plans to unleash next month. Apple, be afraid, be very afraid, as the Samsung slates start rolling out.
