Samsung Releases SGH-T809

Samsung Electronics announced the release of what it claims to be the world's slimmest slide mobile phone available outside Korea. SGH-T809 packs an arsenal of features into an ultra-thin slider form. The 15.2 mm thick phone features a megapixel digital camera, a fully loaded Bluetooth
system, 262k color display and it includes a TransFlash/microSD memory card slot. Other features include speakerphone, mass storage USB, support for MP3 and AAC file formats, audio player with a 4-mode equalizer and 3D sound.

Furthermore, the handset features a phonebook capable of storing 1000 entries, SMS, MMS and e-mail support as well as polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, WAP 2.0 browser, Java. It supports GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz networks, as well as GPRS and EDGE Class 10 support.

The Samsung T809 is a formidable competitor for the Motorola RAZR, looks good and has even more features than the RAZR series.

The phone is available from T-Mobile in the US, at around $300 USD with service agreement.
