The Korean producer has decided to revolutionize everything concerning cell phones and we will not take the time to list all the multimedia functions featured by its products since CeBit..

Because, from the hardware point of view, Samsung has reached a dead end (after all, how many inventions per minute can you come with?) it is now orienting towards the esthetics of the phones.

Everybody is accustomed to the idea that phone's display is vertical, except for a few Communicator models. Samsung thought about changing this rule, and proposed the SCH-V500 model whose horizontal display was a new concept to users. V500 model was the phone that allowed users to view images and video on a horizontal display. Now, Samsung is refreshing the idea of such a phone by the SCH-V600 model which maintains the principal technical ideas of its predecessor, but benefits from a more elegant and compact look.

The improved version has smaller dimensions: with 6.5 mm in height, 3.3 mm in width and 1.6 mm in thickness. It includes a high-speed MSM 6500 CPU and offers the possibility of faster accessing of commands and games. From the beginning, the phone offers three games in horizontal mode and three in vertical mode.

V600 continues the series of innovations, receiving a S-Mark certification from the Korean national organizations for the anti-bacteria technology of "shielding" the phone with nano-particles. The phone includes a digital camera of 1.3 mega pixels, a flash and an extension card.

V600 functions in CDMA 2000 1X networks and has 92.5mm x 48.7mm x 29.3mm and 127,2 grams. The 262.000 colors display measures 1.9 inch and is capable of a resolution (176 x 220 mm). The phone is equipped with stereo sound solutions and includes MP3 rendering functions and GPS orientation.
