Samsung i600 will get another upgrade to make itself even more appealing in the eyes of the potential buyers. As if all other features about this smartphone weren't enough to make it interesting, it will also be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6, the most evolved version of this software.

The fact that Samsung i600 used to come packed with Windows Mobile 5 made it look inferior to other new evolved smartphones that come with the latest version. Samsung will be giving a free upgrade to all its customers. The initiative is still in an early stage, as only Dutch and Russian people can update their Samsung i600 handsets to Windows Mobile 6.

Samsung i600 is one of the most evolved business smartphones which also comes with a sleek design. At only 11.8 mm thick, the handset proves to be one stylish piece of High-Tech equipment for solving business situations. Slim and compact, it also manages to provide the means to efficient communication.

The device comes packed with email and instant messaging support, the preferred alternative to old fashioned phone use. HSPDA and Wi-Fi connectivity manage to reach speeds of up to 1.8 Mbps of data transfer. It also brings EDGE and Bluetooth support, although the fact that it only had Windows Mobile 5 was more of a drawback until now.

The company is currently working on ways to develop software updates for people living in as many countries in Europe as possible. It's still a great start to see it available in the the Netherlands and Russia, with the promise of a larger future release. Any new information will be available at the SamsungMobile website in the near future, keep an eye on it for any changes. The event is only for i600 users and will end by the end of October, year 2008.
