Samsung and Elissa Present the Impulz i450 Dual-slider Music Phone

Samsung Mobile just unveiled that Elissa, one of the most successful singers in the Middle East, became its 2008 music category brand ambassador, and it also announced the release of Impulz i450, a new music-centered handset.

Impulz i450 is a dual-slider phone that slides down to reveal a high-quality speaker, and up to offer users access to its large alphanumeric keypad. The handset comes with an innovative touch navigation half-wheel that enables you to easily navigate through its features, even when the device is held sideways. Furthermore, Impulz i450 packs a 2.4 inch screen, Music Player, ICEpower amplifier from Bang & Olufsen, dedicated music interface, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash, a secondary camera for video calls and microSD card support for up to 4 GB of extended memory.

Impulz i450 also includes a unique package with 3 of Elissa's hit singles: "Ayami Bik", "Bastanak" and "Moush Kiteer Aaleik". The phone is available via all major electronics outlets in the Middle East and Africa, for a retail price of 1,499 AED (about $410)

Elissa (real name: Elissar M. Khoury) is a Lebanese singer that started her career in 1992 and became famous not only in the Middle East but also world-wide. No word about the availability of Impulz i450 in Europe or North America, but we assume the handset is a modified version of Samsung i450, a phone that will surely be available for everyone.
