Just when you thought things were winding down, the storm returns

The patent war between Samsung and Apple continues to press forward, and anyone who hoped they would settle down after their spat will find themselves disappointed.

As if the Galaxy Tab, the iPhones, iPad, iPod and a bunch of other devices weren't enough, the companies want to add more products to the existing lawsuit in the United States of America.

Apple wants to add the Samsung Galaxy Note and the U.S.-version of the Galaxy S III smartphone, plus the Jelly Bean OS (Android 4.1-4.2), though it will have to battle Google here, even if Apple is only going after Galaxy Nexus.

Meanwhile, Samsung seeks to extend its complaint to the Apple's iPhone 5.

The requests from both companies were submitted on November 6 and, now, they have been approved by U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal.
