As we reported, earlier today, Samsung plans to concentrate more on tablets rather than on smartphones in 2014. With this purpose in mind, the Korean tech giant has reduced its estimates for smartphone sales in the year to come.

A follow-up report posted by the same ETNews claims that Samsung is predicting it will end up selling around 42 million tablets in 2014. Interestingly enough, there’s also mention of a purported 13.3-inch tablet Samsung might be working on.

We already know the Korean giant is hard at work on a 12.2-inch slate. Its specifications have been leaked online and the device got its Bluetooth certification. Most recently, a tip showcased that the device is probably going to be unveiled at the MWC 2014 in Spain.

But what about the 13.3-incher? According to the information, Samsung might be trying to penetrate the business professional market here, and at the same time producing competition for the laptop and desktop PC market.

The 13.3-inch Samsung slate has been in the news before. In all possibility, it might end up to be the Galaxy Tab 2014 Edition that was rumored to support dual-boot between Android and Windows RT.
