Samsung Mobile just announced the official launch of its two Bada phones, Samsung Wave 2 and Samsung Wave 2 Pro in Russia. Showcased this year at CommunicAsia event as Wave 525 and Wave 533, both phones will be ready for shipping in Russia in September 2010.

Samsung Wave 2 (525) is running Samsung's Bada operating system and comes with a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 262K colors (240 x 400 pixels resolution). The handset has a sleek bar form factor and measures 109.5 x 55 x 11.7 mm. It includes TouchWiz UI 3.0, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, 80 MB internal memory, microSD (up to 16GB), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support, Music player with SoundAlive, Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording function, Dolphin Browser, as well as 3-megapixel camera.

Samsung Wave 2 Pro (533) comes with the same Bada operating system and 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 262K colors (240 x 400 pixels resolution). The phone is a side-slider with full QWERTY keyboard.

Other key features include: TouchWiz UI 3.0, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, 80 MB internal memory, microSD (up to 16GB), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support, Music player with SoundAlive, Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording function, as well as 3-megapixel camera.

As you probably noticed there's not many differences between the two phone, except the physical QWERTY keyboard. The Bada phones are set to be shipped to stores in Russia starting this September, but other countries may follow soon. Samsung Wave 2 can be bought for about 9,000 rubles (aprox. $300), while Samsung Wave 2 Pro can be acquired for 10,000 rubles ($331).
