South Korea mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has made available for download a new flavor if its ATIV Beam application for Windows Phone devices, namely version 0.8.6.1.

The software, released as an NFC sharing client for the owners of Samsung handsets running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, will allow users to easily share files with compatible devices.

“Share files by tapping to other NFC-capable device. This is compatible with All Android devices and Samsung Windows Phone devices,” the application’s description reads.

Unfortunately, Samsung did not provide a specific list of changes included in the new application release, though we can assume that the update comes mainly with various bug fixes and performance improvements packed inside.

You can download the Samsung ATIV Beam application from Softpedia today. Unfortunately, it will work only on Windows Phone 8 devices coming from Samsung.
