A few months after introducing its own free music streaming service, Milk Music, Samsung announces it has added a subscription option for those who want additional features.

Even though Samsung’s Milk Music is a “free radio service with no ads,” it has limited functionality. In order to open the service’s real potential, users are now invited to spend real money for more features.

According to the South Korean company, those who pay for the premium version of Milk Music will be able to listen to radio stations without having to connect to Internet.

In addition, Android users who upgrade by paying the $3.99 (€2.98) monthly subscription fee will also receive unlimited song skips. Also, premium subscribers will be allowed to turn on/off station DJ commentary, as well as pause the app automatically with Sleep Timer.

The latest update for Milk Music for Android also adds some bug fixes and stability improvements, which have yet to be detailed by Samsung.

All in all, you can now download Milk Music for Android 1.2 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up. Keep in mind that Samsung’s radio service is only available in the United States.
