Samsung Electronics has unveiled an ultra-thin clamshell phone - SPH-V7400.
Surprisingly for its number of features, the new phone has a thickness of just 17.6 mm. The handset doesn't have
DMB,
but benefits from its EV-DO technology which allows users to browse the Internet at high speeds. EV-DO is much more advanced than GPRS and
EDGE technologies and thus, it can be easily accessed even in confined spaces like the subway.
Also, the phone features a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with flash, an internal 2.2" QVGA TFT
LCD display with 262k colours, MP3 player, Bluetooth for mobile network game or printing and Infrared connectivity, 104MB internal memory, MS Office / PDF / JPG / TXT Pixel viewer, dictionary and mobile printing
PictBridge. The CDMA2000 handset also comes with a T-flash expansion memory slot, which is becoming a must in all the latest released phones.
The new
Samsung SPH-V7400 will be available to all KTF subscribers in the Korean region for about $487 USD.
