Samsung Electronics has recently revealed a PDA type WiBro device, SPH-M8000. The device was shown on last week's ComBCon exhibition in Seoul.

The SPH-M8000 is based on the same slider-design as Samsung's SCH-i830 and SCH-i730 Pocket
PC Phone Editions and features the slide-out QWERTY keyboard so that users can edit SMS or mails more conveniently, a 65k color QVGA 2.8" TFT LCD screen, dual 1.3MP and 3MP cameras for video conferencing, TV-output and Korea's WiBro data-standard.

The new device is thought to give more momentum to the launch of WiBro service scheduled in early next year. Unfortunately it's still running Windows Mobile 2003 SE for Pocket PC. Also, the SPH-M8000 features an Intel PXA272 520MHz CPU and S-DMB (Satellite Digital Media Broadcast) TV.

There is no information available yet about its release date or price.
