They could prove to be brand-new smartphones from the vendor

Samsung is getting ready for the launch of new devices in its Galaxy series, and the names of some of these appear to have already emerged online, via a trademark filing.

On USPTO’s website, mentions of two new device names that could turn out to be Samsung smartphones have emerged, namely the Galaxy V: and Galaxy Adore.

As SamMobile notes, Samsung is usually releasing new devices soon after receiving trademarks for them, and chances are that the new phones will be announced in the not-too-distant future as well.

With Galaxy V:, Samsung might be set to bring to the market a brand-new series of handsets, which should break apart for the Galaxy S lineup.

No specific info on what phones in this family might be all about has been provided as of now, and it also remains to be seen why the company chose to include the colon (:) in their names (assuming, of course, that there will be more than one product launched under this name).

As for Galaxy Adore, we might see it announced as a carrier version of one of the company’s phones, something that happened with other devices in the past. Keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
