Samsung has had a great 2012 in terms of Android smartphone sales, that’s for sure, especially with Galaxy S III hitting the 40-million sold units mark in 7 months after launch, and the company is happy to share its excitement with the world.

This week, this will happen in the form of a 2-minute Super Bowl commercial, which is already being teased in the video embedded above.

In Samsung’s traditional manner, the ad will stress on the fact that “the next big thing” is already here.

The video features Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, who need to come up with ideas for “Samsung's Big Game ad for The Next Big Thing,” but who meet some difficulties.

Some yet unseen footage will also be included in the commercial for Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II and Note 10.1, set to be aired later this week and on Sunday, Droid-life notes.
