A long prepared release

Samsung T729 "Blast" has finally been released at T-Mobile, just as it was expected to happen lately. The phone's launch has been prepared through recent advertisements meant to arouse the interest of potential buyers.

The Samsung Blast is certainly one unusual phone model coming from this producer. Unlike most of their handsets, this one rather looks for performances and tries to satisfy the user's needs with the best solutions, than to put to display a beautiful design. The T729 Blast phone model holds nothing from the elegance that other evolved slider phones coming from Samsung have gotten us used to seeing. The black and red combination in design leaves out style and manages to make it look like a practical device.

The slider concept is combined with a QWERTY keypad for efficient text introduction in the device. This might look rather strange, but proves to be highly useful for handling personal data on the handset.

The Blast is the first T-Mobile phone to provide direct access to personal e-mail, including AOL email, Yahoo! Mail and Gmail. Moreover, IMAP4, POP3 and SMTP protocols are also supported, just to make the whole picture complete. Handling the personal email proves to be easier than ever, as the user also holds the possibility of adding text and pictures in them.

Samsung T729 also comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking captures at a rather poor quality. Still, it's just enough to keep your blog up to date by shooting images of the latest events going on in your life. The slider phone is designed rather for handling text documents than anything else and it does its work excellently.

Samsung T729 "Blast" will be available from now on at T-Mobile for USD 100 after a USD 50 mail-in rebate, or in a wide variety of prices, depending on the data plan that the buyer chooses.
