Although Samsung has not yet finished delivering the promised Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates for Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 2, the South Korean handset maker seems to have found the time to start testing Android 4.4 KitKat for Galaxy Note 3.

The information has just popped up on SamMobile’s Twitter account and has yet to be confirmed by Samsung or other source close to the matter.

Last week, Google announced the next major platform for smartphone, Android 4.4 KitKat. Unfortunately, only a handful of handset manufacturers confirmed plans to offer the upgrade to their devices and Samsung is not one of them.

HTC has already announced that it will roll out an Android 4.4 KitKat update for HTC One, One max and One mini in the coming months, and Sony stated yesterday that it would offer more details this week. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
