The software has already arrived on devices in Germany

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has finally started to deliver the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system to its Galaxy Ace 2 devices, providing users with an appealing new experience on their smartphones, it seems.

The OS upgrade has started to roll out in Germany to Galaxy Ace 2 GT-I8160P units, but it should land on phones in other markets around the world as well in the near future.

The update arrives on handsets with Samsung’s new Touch-Wiz UX interface, a recent article on SamMobile reads. Furthermore, users should enjoy increased performance levels after installing the refreshed software.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform is available for Galaxy Ace 2 both over the air and via Samsung’s Kies desktop application, and arrives with PDA version I8160PXXME1, while featuring modem version I8160PXXME1.
