Samsung Star S5230 is one of the touchscreen mobile phones coming from the South Korean company Samsung that is expected to become widely popular on the market during the ongoing year. Many of you might already know that the phone maker announced recently plans to sell more than ten million units of this device during 2009, and now it seems that it has begun to take the first steps towards achieving its goal.

To be more precise, the company seems to plan the release of several editions of the device, a move that should help it boost sales a lot. This in not the first time when the company chooses to make things this way, and you should agree that it managed to reach its targets with previous handsets as well. When it comes to the new Samsung Star S5230, we should expect the device to come to the market in a few more color versions.

Thus, the Samsung Star S5230 is reported to have reached the market in Germany in four color flavors, including black, white, pink and purple. The variants are the result of a collaboration between the mobile phone maker and makeup artist Boris Entrup from Maybelline Jade. All of the iterations can be purchased in the country unlocked, and they come with a price tag of €249.

The handset will also reach other markets dressed in new colors, including France, where Samsung launched the Star S5230 under the name of Samsung Player One. Mobile phone users in the country have the opportunity to enjoy a special edition of the device, called Samsung Player One Zadig & Voltaire. The handset comes to the market with a stylish back cover and with a redesigned case, reflecting the Z&V fashion house look.

There are no details on the pricing of the new special-edition device in France at the moment, yet, given the fact that the Samsung Star is only a mid-level mobile phone, it shouldn't be too expensive.
