Two more average sliders from Samsung

It looks like Samsung has not been standing around thrilling on the success that it had over the past period and gaining the second place as world mobile phone producer. They have just launched the P260 and S720i, along with several other new phone models, to refresh its offer.

The launch has caused few waves, as the two phone models are not extremely evolved when it comes to performances. They manage to bring new phone names in the Samsung line of handsets, but fail in also offering something new.

Samsung P260 has a rather classic look, as it greatly resembles older phone models coming from this company. The only modern aspect about it is the slider feature which this company seems to have grown quite fond of. The handset comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, just what anyone would need for taking captures of average quality. Nothing more and nothing less.

The P260 phone model has a display screen capable of supporting a comfortable resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Moreover, it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The phone has 25MB of internal memory but also comes with a microSD card slot included.

Samsung S720i presents a more modern look, although lower performances. It has a camera of only 1.3 megapixel, but it is also capable of CIF recording. The slider packs GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, which might be just all that there is needed by some people. This handset too comes with a microSD card slot, which is quite reassuring, when considering the fact that it has only 20MB of internal memory.

The two mobile phones have just been announced by Samsung. The producer said nothing on the date or on the prices that they will come at, although that should happen pretty soon, as there is no reason to stall the waiting.
