Samsung uses the “Series 9” moniker on a variety of devices, and it is the notebook line that we are concerning ourselves with right now.
According to Samsung Hub, the Series 9 notebook will gain a silver color option in South Korea soon.
The 15-inch model will be available before the end of the month (July 2012), while the 13-inch laptop will appear in August.
For those who don't remember what the hardware is, the notebooks rely on an Intel third-generation Core i5 CPU (Ivy Bridge), a 128 GB SSD, integrated HD graphics and 8 GB of RAM (random access memory).
Windows 7 runs on both models, but Windows 8 will take its place when Microsoft finally launches it in October.
The price of the 13-inch model is not known yet, but the 15-inch Series 9 will sell for 1.73m won (US$1514 / 1,233 Euro).
