Samsung has just announced a new milestone it reached on the mobile market, with a number of over 30 million Galaxy S and Galaxy S II devices sold to date.

The Southy Korean mobile phone maker has managed to sell a number of more than 20 million Galaxy S devices to date, and reached the 10 million sold Galaxy S II units mark several weeks ago.

Until now, the new Galaxy S II smartphone is the fastest selling device in the company's lineup, as it reached the said milestone in only about five months since launch.

The new handset built on the success of its predecessor, and topped 10 million sold units without being available for purchase in the United States.

However, now it landed on this market too, and it might not be too long before we learn that is reached the 20 million sold units mark.
