South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has long been rumored to plan the launch of a Galaxy Note III smartphone at IFA 2013 in Berlin, and it seems that the company will indeed do so.

The latest reports on the matter suggest that Samsung has already scheduled a press event for September 4 in Berlin, and that the aforementioned Android-based handset will be announced there.

Furthermore, Galaxy Note III is expected to be introduced alongside a new smart watch, which has already been confirmed, SammyHub notes.

Although no official details on Galaxy Note III have been provided as of now, rumor has it that the device will land on shelves with a 5.7-inch or 6-inch full HD screen, a Snapdragon 800 processor inside, 3GB of RAM, support for LTE-Advanced and more.
