14 DAY TRIAL // As if we didn't already have more than our fair share of lawsuits to write about, Samsung and LG are getting ready to start a new one.
The reason LG is getting ready to bring Samsung before the court is the latter's claims in regards to the former.
Samsung holds LG responsible for an alleged leak of OLED technology that can cost it trillions of won. LG supposedly orchestrated the leak at the corporate level.
It is unclear when a judicial complaint will be moved forward, but we do know the main argument LG will stick by.
"LG Display's products boast excellent technology and even received a presidential award with the OLED panel for 55-inch screens," the company said. "We do not need Samsung's technology which works under a totally different display system."
